The Exclusive Wine Experience is Falcó de la Reina’s most noteworthy experience offered within its activity portfolio, especially for all those who like dreamy landscapes, wine and good company. This is due to the uniqueness that makes up the experience, as it mixes the discovery of several hidden viewpoints on the northern coast of Mallorca, a private visit to the Macià Batle wineries and a delicious meal in the purest traditional Mallorcan style, in the private family house of Macià Batle’s heir.
THE VIEWPOINTS OF ARCHDUKE LUIS SALVADOR
We meet and greet you, ready to transport you in our luxury vehicle from your hotel or private establishment to visit the spectacular viewpoint route. The exclusive section between Sóller and Valldemossa of the MA-10 highway is where the vantage points of Archduke Luis Salvador of Austria (19th / 20th century) are located, who had them masterfully built in unlikely locations, thus consolidating the wonderful image of the Majorcan north coast.
During the Mercedes Vito route, you will stop at different Viewpoints, each is accessed via short paths, lasting no more than 10 minutes. From the Viewpoints, you will glimpse unprecedented sights of the coast of the Tramuntana mountain range, so impressive that it is impossible not to be moved by the greatest natural spectacle on the island of Mallorca.
Total time: 2 hours. Stops at the best Viewpoints on the north coast, with walks of no more than 10 minutes, with a possible extension to visit more remote lookouts on foot.
Through a captivating introduction, you will learn about the natural, cultural and landscape values of the area you are visiting, specifically that of the Tramuntana mountain range.

The option of the Viewpoint route excursion is based on our top recommendation. However, this first part of the “Essence of Wine” experience, can be adapted to meet your personal interest and needs. We provide you with the facility to switch to the following combinations:

THE WINNERY
At the end of the viewpoint route, you will travel a short journey, to the prestigious Macià Batle winery (in Santa Maria). There, an assistant awaits you, ready to explain the processes they use to make the IGP Terra de Mallorca MACIÀ BATLE wine, along with the different varieties of local grapes with which they work in this wonderful internationally awarded winery and, at 1 million bottles per year, the largest wine production of the Balearic Islands. The experience continues with a wine tasting (4 wines) while you taste a delicious assortment of own-produced Mallorcan products.
“These wineries are devoted to the uniqueness of local grapes and their valuable combination with international varieties. During the visit to the Macià Batle winery you will learn about the winemaking processes. Starting with the journey the grapes make during their vinification in the harvest season. THE ESSENCE OF WINE, SON FIOL
After a short transfer through our second protagonist of the day, the vineyard, we arrive at the beautiful estate of the heir to the Macià Batle lineage: Son Fiol. The private house is surrounded by stunning vineyards, bestowed with important works of art, and ennobled by its charming hosts. The lunch, with an informal and cozy atmosphere, chaired by the hosts Ramon and Tonina, is served with the best typical dishes of Mallorcan cuisine, the finest wines from the winery and other pleasant surprises. All of this perfectly reflects the ingenuity and creativity of Mallorcan wine culture, which is the authentic essence of local wine.
Total time in Son Fiol: 2 to 3 hours.
