GET INSPIRED BY THE DEIÀ MARINE LIFE
It is a circular and simple route through the Deià region, along its spectacular coast and under the pleasant shade of the Mediterranean pine (Pinus halepensis). Here you will pass through Cala Deià, Llucalcari and Cala Canyaret along the wonderful Camí des Pintors. Over the last 100 years, many national and international artists have sought inspiration in the wonderful landscapes of Deià. During the walk, it will be easy to see why!
Coastal ecosystem
During the hike, you will take breaks in natural pools and hidden coves for snorkelling! Once in the water, immerse yourself in the turquoise blue of the sea to explore and acquaint yourself with the marine life. This region of the Mediterranean has incredible biodiversity and is fascinating to observe. The local guide knows both terrestrial and marine wildlife well, so he can help you identify the various animals and plants you encounter.
Pure adventure
For the more adventurous, there is also plenty to do and enjoy, as the cove has several rocks that provide perfect platforms for jumping into the sea. With heights ranging from 1 to 8 meters (3 to 26 feet), families of all ages can test their level and jump into the sea. There are also two caves, up to 40 meters deep, that can be explored. There is plenty to do here!
CHOOSE YOUR DEPARTURE POINT
The activity is available with two different hikes that lead you to the same destination: the idyllic Canyaret cove, where the water activities continue.
- 2 hours: from the busy Cala Deià, it allows you to enjoy the scenic Camí des Pintors in its entirety. Walking 1 hour there and 1 hour back along an undulating path by the sea.
- 1 hour: from the beautiful hamlet of Llucalcari, it allows you to enjoy the ancient olive grove and pine forest. Walking 25 minutes down and a more leisurely 35 minutes up.
Duration: Between 3 and 4 HRS / 1 or 2 HRS Walking / 2 HRS of jumping into the sea, snorkelling and sea cave exploration, with the option to extend the activity one more hour.
Technical factsheet
Through a captivating introduction, you will learn about the natural, cultural and landscape values of the area you are visiting, specifically that of the Tramuntana mountain range.
Must wear: sneakers for walking and a swimsuit, towel, and sunscreen.

- Private group of 1 to 8 people.
- No previous experience required; however, you must know how to swim.
- Available from age 7 years.
- The Master Class activity goes into the water! It can be booked for the morning or afternoon.
- This activity is subject to meteorological factors including the state of the sea.
