NEVER-ENDING SCENIC EXCURSION
The Binissalem Hike & Wine experience begins with a walking route with an easy ascent to the summit of the historic Alaró castle (822 meters above sea level), the most extraordinary rock castle* of the three that exist on the island. Once inside the castle, the panoramic views are tremendously spectacular, with views across 70% of the surface of the island of Mallorca.
*A rock castle is on a mountain with impregnable walls with only one easy access on foot. The rock on which the castle stands is always incorporated into its design.
Through a captivating introduction, you will learn about the natural, cultural and landscape values of the area you are visiting, specifically that of the Tramuntana mountain range.

OENOLOGY EXPERIENCE WITH ORGANIC WINES
At the end of the hiking route, you will travel a short distance, to the prestigious TIANNA NEGRE winery. There, an an expert oenologist awaits you for your private visit, ready to explain the processes they use to make the IGP wine from Mallorca (100% organic), with the different varieties of local grapes with which they work in this wonderful family winery. The experience continues with a wine tasting (3 – 4 wines) while you taste a delicious assortment of Mallorcan products such as empanadas and cocas (savoury pastries), local cheeses and charcuterie and finishing with typical local desserts.
